The song "499 Seconds", produced by Yoko Kanno, serves as the theme for "LIVE EARTH JOURNEY", a project produced by Macross series director and mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori. This immersive experience will be exhibited at the 2025 Japan World Expo (Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai) in the form of the Deep Vision presentation titled "499 Seconds - My Gattai". The song "Wakan Tanka (from 499 Seconds)" is a standalone version of the first half of the two-part medley "499 Seconds". Yoko Kanno's Comment: It is said that it takes 499 seconds for light emitted from the Sun to reach the palm of our hands. In the length of this journey, I saw how miraculous and precious each moment of "now" truly is. I believe we've been able to fully express, through the Deep Vision, the vibrant pulse and mystery of life that Director Kawamori has experienced and deeply felt.
