Honey Brown

Say the words "Honey Brown", and other words like sweet, smooth, rich, seductive, and natural come to mind. These words are also used to describe my soulful, vocal and creative lyrical style. Her music embodies the heart and soul of all her inspirations, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Phyllis Hyman ,Patti labelle, Mary J. Blige, Babyface, and acclaimed song writer Diane Warren, just to name a few. Spending most of her time in the studio honing and perfecting her skills as a writer, producer, and vocalist; she's been blessed to work with several acclaimed producers of some of today's top artists. She was recently honored by the Las Vegas music awards for Songwriter of the year 2006 and the SEA awards for Best Indie Artist of 2007. "I write what I've experienced. It just flows. My music is just an extension of who I am", she confesses. Her debut album is sure to take listeners through a myriad of experiences that someone from almost every age group, background, and demographic can relate to. She adds, "Music is supposed to heal, inspire, set the mood as well make you bob your head and move your feet. My album will definitely consist of songs that everyone could relate to and appreciate no matter who you are or where your from."
