Since 2006, the Medieval band Själ have been bringing their audience 800 years back in time with the help of their music – a music that always lives, finds unsuspected paths and evolves into something completely new. Whether they play in pubs or churches, at markets or concerts, Själ will always give you new musical experiences. The new album "Tillbaka" - meaning "Back" as in "we're back with a new record" or "we're bringing you back in time" - is exploring a new approach to historical music. Inspired by the mix of cultures that made up medieval europe we want to play the old songs in new ways to see how the 800 years old melodies still can reach into us, move us and make us dance, laugh and cry.
