Brous One
Born in Santiago de Chile in 1990, producer Brous One became interested into beatmaking at the early age of 13, after a friend showed him the classic album "Stakes is High". With 23 years, he already has a wide discography and has collaborated on many compilations ("Beat Power", for example) and has produced and remixed for some well respected MC's worldwide (Audio88, SmooVth, Sylabil Spill). After releasing his first single, a collaboration with influential german rapper Retrogott, "Di Ay Ti Sí" (ENTBS, 2011), Brous caught the attention of german rap listeners. His first solo producer album, "Un Momento en el Tiempo" (Vinyl Digital, 2012), counted with collaborations of both, chilean and german rappers (such as Matiah Chinaski, Retrogott and Hulk Hodn, among others) and it was highly acclaimed by the underground heads worldwide. From there on, Brous hasn´t stopped releasing fresh material, but always keeping that classic flavor. In march of 2013 he's invited for the first time to a tour in Germany, playing in many cities and being well received by the audience. The same year he releases three collaborative albums: "Bombentest" (Vinyl Digital), with german MC Dennis Da Menace; "Mote con Huesillos" (ENTBS), on which he produces again for Retrogott; and late that year, "Elba Surita" (Vinyl Digital), consisting of raps by great chilean writer Matiah Chinaski. While in Germany, Brous meets his actual wife, the german artist Veronika Wünsch, reason for him to keep on traveling between South America and Europe and giving him the opportunity of getting more shows in a dozen of european cities, such as Köln, Vienna, Basel and Berlin, just to name a few. After this journeys, Brous One decided to start a beat-collection series, "Cinta de Ritmos", which has already released two volumes. Since 2014 he lives in Germany. His second solo producer album, "Beats, Beer & BBQ" (Vinyl Digital), is realeased in September of that year and features some of the best german, chilean and american rappers (like Prince Po, Declaime, Eloquent and his music partners Retrogott, Dennis Da Menace, Matiah Chinaski and many others). At the moment he’s working on a wide range of projects, which includes an album planned to be released late 2015 in collaboration with US independent label Redefinition Records.
