Marcello De Francisci

Marcello De Francisci is a composer who provides music to the feature film, theatrical movie trailer, commercial and interactive game industry. In 2006 he was awarded the G.A.N.G. award of best music score for Sony Computer Entertainment's "God of War" game. His music has been used in major theatrical movie trailers such as "Prince Of Persia" (Walt Disney - Bruckheimer Films), "Monsters Vs Aliens" (DreamWorks), "Seven Pounds" (Sony Pictures), "Night At The Museum" (20th Century Fox), "Mission Impossible III" (Paramount Pictures), Jerry Bruckheimer's "National Treasure" (Touchstone Pictures),"The Guardian" (Touchstone Pictures), "Hellboy" (Universal Pictures) and Jet Li's "Hero" (Miramax) to name a few. His recent collaboration with "Dead Can Dance" singer/composer Lisa Gerrard (Gladiator / The Insider / Black Hawk Down & Man on Fire) has awarded him credits as a composer on soundtrack scores for films such as "Balibo", "Tears Of Gaza" and the upcoming feature for Icon Pictures titled "Oranges & Sunshine" starring Emily Watson & Hugo Weaving. Currently Lisa Gerrard & Marcello De Francisci are gearing up for the release of their first collaborative album titled "Departum" scheduled to hit the streets in the coming weeks.
